Croyden, Melbourne to Brisbane

Not actually bike transport but an old wrought iron bed that is disassembled. Time isn't an issue and more than willing to pay for the help.

Don't be stupid....it's for the Franken bike I am making. It will be the 'favourite bike' bed. Got to treat it right so she will do the same in kind.
While I am here, can anyone at least recommend a transport company that can bring it up on a back load. I am having a problem with the $700 freight issue.

Try Alladin's transport. They do antique furniture, you'll find most of the antique dealers on ebay will have the phone number on their listings

I will be in the Croydon area next week, (maybe the following week) and can bring it back to Broadford.
Do you know any Qlders coming to the Bonanza or are they all pissing off to NZ?
What condition is it in?
Will it be wrapped to protect it or is it something that needs restoring anyway so scratches won't matter?

Thank you Noel and Geoff. Seems it was a bit more urgent than first stated  ::)
And thanks Paul for the link. She has now gone that way.
