Beautifully done Bill, I am sure it would spray boulders on anything behind it. Any Maico secrets you can share with us?

Looks great Bill. any thing done to the motor to liven it up? I have bought a 250 motor to put in my roller after taking the 490 motor out to put in the Franken bike I am doing. Are they a slow motor in stock form? ( I have heard this)

its no big deal. It does have a Eric Cook stage 4 motor. Look at the cylinder base on the intake side. built up with weld and ported. Very large intake tranfers.Yamaha rod also. type 55 bing..

They are pipey stock. i would at least go to a honda intake, V force 3. cut head and  torque pipe. will help low end some. I think we dropped to a 50 pilot on the Bing. Really helped. a 58  tooth rear sprocket helped also

Bill you mention it has a Eric Cook Stage 4 Motor! What are the various stage setups or mods per stage nd do the 490 motors have a equivelent modification stages? Can you elaborate? Eric assembled my 490 Motor in the US prior to it being sent here and I found that the port chamfering horrendous and had Serco locally redo them.
