how rare are rh250s 73-74 and what are they worth

73s ultra rare factory bikes name your price ?
74s Limited production, in the last 3 yrs i have seen an absolute incomplete shit box sell for 10K
and a very well restored one sell for 18K

thanks bill are the frames stamped rh73 ect as a mates mate has been given this bike  could turn out to be a tm or a ts but he thinks its something else

I was sponsored by Mortlocks Suzuki and raced a RM125, In 1973 I ordered a RH250 for that season to move into the 250 class. The W@^& salesman sold my bike when it arrived and I was so pissed off I went to yamaha and got Allen Reids Standby yz250B to race that season. To top off this whole tragic story is I sold my YZ to a old school friend for $500.00 SOB!

I have never forgotten the salesmans name, it was David Cheshire. he worked at mortlocks Suzuki Hay Street Perth.

Another RH250 story just sprang to mind. When I was hunting down a Maico to buy a guy in the UK had a Maico and because I told him I liked Suzuki's as well he told me he had a genuine RH250 as well as the Maico. I told him I would be interested in both bikes, so he sent me photo's over of the Maico 490. I looked at the photo's of the bike and told him it looked a bit tired compared to his glowing description of the bike, I then asked if he would sell me the RH. I got an email back with telling me that I was a wanker and after that he would not answer his eamils. I was horrified!!! I didn't think I was being rude, just honest on the condition of the bike. I missed out again  :'( I don't think the RH's went to too many countries, I heard mainly Australia, NZ and only a few to the UK.

Had a quick go on a '74 RH250, they rip and would tear most others a new ahole. Not a real Suzuki fan but was more than impressed.

a mate of mine had a rh in the early 80s,was too hard to ride for trail riding so sold it and bought a pe 175 .if only we knew
