could you do one up in cardboard as a pattern and then make one yourself or have it scanned and laser cut? I've had stuff laser cut using patterns I've provided and it's pretty cheap.

Can still buy them from Ballards.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

I have one but i dont know if its aftermarket or OEM. It has square holes. Not for sale, but i can make a template for you. I got it from ebay seller Bike Buzzard or The Buzzard or something like that. He sells a lot of vintage stuff. Nice guy.

The braces with round holes eg the MD Racing ones came out mid 80's, i cant remember the  exact year though. they are still readily available. These are the ones Nathan says Ballards has got.

No one makes aftermarket square ones anymore.

Just did a google search and found this for sale

Genuine works!

Here is the MD ones that Ballards used to have. They now get theres made cheaper in Taiwan or somewherw as they no longer come in MD packaging

You can also find various sellers on ebay selling these slightly different ones
