I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

your in trouble mate, you won't be riding that bike or anything else for a looong time.
this incident will be brought up whenever you do the next issue, forever and beyond, date and time will be quoted and whatever you say will be repeated verbatim. i suggest you start now with the excuses and memorise the most likely one you reckon she will accept. prepare your earplugs ready.

forget all the sweeteners she will just be suspicious, remember there are only 2 ways to understand women and

No bloke has ever known either of them

GOOD LUCK BROTHER, i will burn some fuel in a ritual for you.

Doesn’t this make you feel all young again.
Like when you got into trouble from your Mum for stinking out the kitchen while cooking your chain in some Duckhams.

Ironically I inherited the old stove that Mum had banned me from as a teenager and I now use it in the workshop to cook all manner of stuff.

Duckhams.
Used to live in a second story flat at Higate Hill with my first wife.
Was cooking my TS90 chain in duckhams and filled the flat full of smoke.
Grabbed the Duckhams tin and rushed outside.
Tripped and spilt it all down the rickety old wooden stairs.
Needless to say it soaked straight in and was still there when we left.
Ah memories.

Mike, you are a bloddy serial offender, that's twice you've cocked up while fixing(?) your bike AND you're onto your second wife, christ there's no hope for you.
You'd think they would work it out!---- or get an outfit. :D :D :D

yep, boiled over a container of Duckhams on the electric stove  myself. Wish my chains stayed as well lubed as that stove did - that stuff just wouldn't go away.

Take it from someone who has done this ::). You are going be in the bad books for a couple of weeks and every time you speak about the bike she will tell them how stupid you were and what you did for the rest of your life :) Darcy
That was the first wife dkupf, even to this very day its all my fault.[ Told me last night in a conversation about our kids]
I even MADE her run away with my best mate.

The new one has given up. :)
All is well.
She hasn,t got a very good sense of  smell. :o
I think I got away with it. :)
