Look at the size of the blokes in second and third!!
Does anyone know IDs of rugrats on the right please?   (I love that kid's helmet!)

I also love the sight of haybales on corners ... real neat.  God bless the good ol' Green Horror

Good one, Stanley

Goldyracer, you have me confused. You won every sub-junior event at Wallan from 72-75? Is this the sub-juniors for 14-16yrs in the days of Ronnie Dinsdale, Anton Alers, Grant Cramer and co or are you referring to a class at the old Patterson Cheney Honda Mini-bike Rallies? I rode 72-74 so our paths should have crossed?

I think the Bill Patterson type of events probably made mx so strong. Many could afford the $300 SLs, XRs, Daxs , mini trials and even the omegas and could go racing. Went through the KX65/85s phase with my boys, you certainly need to be cashed up. Grat memories of those days. Great uphills and downhills at Wallan. Would be great in the cheap chinese bikes could help replicate something like it, always nice to dream.
