my motor has had the balance shaft removed (previous owner) when i was checking the timing beit marks today when  i removed the screw in the lower clutch cover to lock it at tdc about 100 ml of oil drainrd out.should i blank off the hole in the crank case where the balance shaft used to live?

Hmm You dont need an oil filled cavity that dose nothing. So I would say Yes but I dont know these motors well enough.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle
