Wonder where a Kawasaki 650 W1sa would come in pre 65 0r pre 70?
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

I reckon the Meguro would be pre-70 too, Tim.

My first bike was a twin port Jawa 250 (Road bike). It was very similar to that with the square section frame and the same hubs, but had 16" wheels. Had a little hat that used to go over the carby to make the engine very streamlined looking. Flogged the poor thing round for years till I got a 350 twin Jawa. The combined gearlever/kickstart was a bewdy. Had to rebuild the clutch and did the boiled up corks routine and sanding off. It had done a gazzillion miles before I got it, can't remeber what happened to it.

They're 1 of the few bikes around that hooking the gearlever disengages the clutch, with a bit of practise you can take off from standstill without using the clutch lever. Can remember riding my fathers 350 home with a broken cable & not worrying about needing to cross the main road
Nice bike Dave  8)
