With respect to Jimmy the crab and best wishes to his dear old mum , why cancel the event  It would have still been a cracking event .

Very dissapointed , i belive the organisers should reconsider the decision , i imagine a number of South islanders have booked their ferry crossings and accomodation etc .

Nobody's bagging him Jim, the point is, why cancel a meeting just 'cos the star won't be there ? Plenty of options, even within the scope of NZ stars of yesteryear...then again, he's not the only international who is capable of boarding a plane for a gallop either... Carn Robert !!
