VB 360 case saver. 1977

Can anyone help me out with a clearance dimension between front sprocket tooth tips and a new case saver/guide please.

As you will probably know the section of steel that curves around the front of the sprocket is very thin behind the flywheel and "necked in" further to clear the kickstart shaft. I want to make one up and maximise the width in this area by minimising the clearance to the sprocket, but without risking a jammed chain :o.

I always run a 13 tooth so don't need to compromise for anything larger.

Any help appreciated.

Many thanks

Jon.
