Probably 9-10 K bike amongst TT500 guys if it was completely original. The original exhaust alone could easily make a grand but thats missing. Factory road kit can also add another grand if NOS. 5-6 K bike without a lot of the desirable stuff.

The same seller had an IT175G on there last week, and a few weeks before that.
This time it went to $1500 and reserve not met.

Yeah i know guys in the TT/XT register locally who would pay that price or more for that. They are currently playing that price for roughies, so im not suprised the reserve is over $5000. There is also a local here with a TT500 C thats in just as good condition if not better than that ebay bike so i dont think its 'the only one' in that condition in Australia. As ive said before, they have a cult following, are highly collectable and sought after. Original good condition TT/XT mufflers are like rocking horse s***

TT500's have held their price since day one.  No matter what you pay for one it will be worth more 12 months later.

As Marc says it's an easy $5-6 K bike.

Ditto the original flimsy road kit bracket that held the cheapo speedo and broke due to vibration or crashing, TY headlight and tail light, I have seen NOS road kits go for a grand.

Key issue with the TT fetishers is originality, NOS everything is a good start. Original TT500C low pipe would be big improvement to that bike. What makes it desirable is it completes a TT500 collection, a lot of guys try to have every year.
