Tell him he is dreaming…

Ask Broc Glover and David Bailey what they thought of their ALS helmets… it's amazing what riders will wear for cash

They wouldn't have been comfortable. I don't think they would have been very safe either. There is stuff all padding inside. Two small strips across the top and bugger all on the sides as well. Shit they look good though. The price you pay to look good.
Oh and 18 months to two years ago he wouldn't have been dreaming.

Let's just say that they might not have been the safest helmets available - allegedly…

They did look good though  :D

My mate had one and several other open face helmets until he came off face first and ripped most his chin skin off the scott goggles and alike with the face guard aren't any good in a crash and if you had no face mask on you would be in more trouble..

Sitting in all of its day-glo glory on top of my office bookshelf is an Axo RX2 helmet that I paid a weeks wages for back in 1992. The design is very similar to the JT and I think they may possibly have come out of the same Italian factory. Anybody got an idea if that's correct? The AXO and JT helmets were the way cool items back in '92 and it was the first non Bell helmet I'd owned in twenty years. I was told that it was the first commercially available Kevlar helmet and is comparitively light even when compared to my current helmets. It's still in mint condition but I wouldn't be seen in it for quids today, I've grown out of my fluro pink phase :-[
Sorry 'bout the minor thread deviation.
