can anyone suggest a cost effective way to get a small car from Brisbane inner burbs to Melbourne other than drive it down?

i need to get my mothers car down when she relocates, i thought about train, but i may fly up to brissy and drive it down.

Try some of the smaller car carriers Hoony (forget the big mobs). They'd have spaces on the trucks coming back south and you could probably get a good deal if you shop about. Don't send it on anything but a car-carrier though......

i only used them once .had to meet on the side off the road in some god forsaken place ,stolen b double with a load off halhal (muslum )frozen pork bellies ,i thought the police would pounce any moment ,ross was in disquise false beard turban and a uzi sub machine gun ,sure didnt look kosher to me
