Dumb YZ electrics question - Kill Switches
« on: January 21, 2011, 09:25:02 pm »
I got a bit excited when I saw that you could still order an OEM kill switch for my YZ125G from boats.net (23X-83936-01-00), but was disappointed when I got it to see that it was updated with the later square red button type. Then I got onto the black round type but as you can see it has only a single wire.
Question is, can I make it work on my double wired YZ125G set up?

There should be a part of the switch that contacts the metal bracket so then all you need to do its feed an extra wire to it, attache a loop terminal and fix the loop terminal under the screw head.
Wanted - 1978 TS185 frame or frame&motor. Frame # TS1852-24007 up to TS1852-39022
