Well i still havent given up on the Nats i have put in a late entry and hope to make it up there . How many hours drive melbourne to Canberra just talking to pat and he said numbers were up over the hundred mark so should be good hope the weathers better than its been in melbourne

Yep, here's hoping the weather holds up for us. I'm still trying to find time to get the TM running - carb is on, just gotta finish a few more bits and pieces and it might be started this weekend. Then just got to run it in and get the jetting sorted. Fingers crossed!

 Hello all, thanks for your entries, we have ended up with 108, we even have 6 sidecars, how good is that?
We got your entry yz hilly, and from memory it is 7 hours from melbourne to canberra.
 The track has just been resurfaced,and looks a treat, cant wait till the 6th and 7th, camping and hot showers available to you all.

has any one have room for a bike to go to canberra as my brother is invited to ride his old bike in a few exebition laps with the aces from pre 1975.my wife will be going with me at this stage and wont be in the car if we tow a trailer.
i am in the sutherland shire in sydney but will del it to anywhere in sydney if some one has room.

There will be a couple of parade laps during the opening ceremony, that fossil is welcome to participate in, as for the aces of pre 75 exhibition, I dont know the aces of pre 75, and I dont have the time to find out and organise them to this event, as there are many other pre event preparations and a small sub committee to do all the preparations,
 the only ride will be the 2 parade laps for the competitors, regards Pat

pat thats what i ment about the parade laps in the 70s the aces used to do them at most open meetings

Unfortunately Pat, I won't be attending and therefore covering the Nats due to a previous committment to attend the Muscle Car Masters at Eastern Creek with my Jag. Alan Jones is also a part of that event with his Mustang so won't be defending his titles either. It's a shame but you get these clashes from time to time.
 I'm not sure of VMXKens plans either at this time.

If no-one else is able to I'm happy to draft up a story and photos for VMX magazine. I'll email Ken and see what he thinks. Pat, there is a guy who attends ACT MX rounds and takes some nice pics (my RM125 crash being a fine example), maybe we can get him to come along and take some decent photos for us to use? I don't know who he is but he may be a club member...
