MSM engines.
« on: January 12, 2011, 05:56:12 am »
There are some different types of the MSM (Meirson Sprint Motor) like the MSM with Jap head, the (2) MSM pushrod types with a MSM head, and the types with a T/OHC (twin overhead camshaft)
But some experts in the field told me that the latest engine Clarrie Meiers made a DOHC with a 4 Valve head.
The camdrive layout shaft was unusual with a toothed-belt driven by the crankshaft running up and around the two high mounted camshafts supported  either end by high speed
ball bearings.
The big question is, was this engine ever completed and is there more information from this engine to find.

I'm sure Jonesy has an answer to this but he's laying on a deckchair, Mai Tai in hand on the Sea Princess enroute to Fiji. I'm sure he'll have info when he returns.
