OMG - surely a DT1/RT1 would be a far better donor bike!?
Maybe the front end from the YDS that donated its rear wheel would also be a good idea?

Nor do I Ross (especially putting on absolutely the worst front end imaginable - I would assume it's there to push the thing around), but each to their own. But you admire have to admire the effort and detail.

You wouldnt need a front brake...just throw it down 3 gears....that'll pull you up quicker than the brakes.

Its the original front end for the bike - its a lack of an upgrade rather than a specific decision.
