For Tim. I saw you had a chat about the British Rival over on mxtrax (http://forums.mxtrax.co.uk/showthread.php?t=247117), so here's a piccy of the British Rival with Ken Sedgley.

I didn't know that Tim Rogers was into VMX!
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Ah well at least it's not Paul Rodgers... :P

Tim Rogers look alike is Ken Sedgley. Ken rode for the UK in the ISDT and on the list of greatest ever trials riders. Pretty Handy on an MX bike too and was a regular UK national points scorer in his day. Ken went on too some success in formula 3. He even scores a whole chapter in "Off-Road Giants!: Heroes of 1960s Motorcycle Sport, Volume 2" (http://books.google.com.au/books?id=R09pyWuHfbQC&pg=PA98&lpg=PA98&dq=ken+sedgley&source=bl&ots=ekbmqsSNDS&sig=Fl2csfWYTBCGApsnuNR7NGfzgjw&hl=en&ei=MIYtTdujCYjCcZiTse4H&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=7&ved=0CD8Q6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=ken%20sedgley&f=false). Ken was also something of a tycoon with a very successful dealership in Birmingham. Anyway he donned his patriotic hat and threw some of his money at the British rival.

Ken and Malcolm Davies were big mates and visited Zambia together on several occassions when they stayed in chez toofasttim.
