RM250X conrod
« on: January 04, 2011, 06:58:52 pm »
Just gone through zedder and found the 81 RM250X conrod is a stand alone year. Does anyone know what other bikes share the same rod?

Don't have the specs at the moment the guy I'm asking for is going to have the crank stripped to get the specs. Little one is teething so NO sleep! I'll have to come over when the shed is done :)

The rod is nla from Suzuki, previously i have cross referenced rod sizes, pin sizes, brg sizes and washer sizes, but finding where i have put it all at the minute could be a challenge... i will let you know if i can find them.

That is a strange one, even the crank cases look to be a one off (2 hole mounting at front)
RM 250D 64st x 70 bore = 246cc
RM250Z  70st x 67 bore = 246cc
RM250X  70st x 67 bore = 246cc
RM250T  70st x 67 bore = 246cc
PE250Z  70st x 67 bore = 246cc
PE250X  70st x 67 bore = 246cc

It is rod match up time.

According to zedder, the RM250a rod fits only up to C2 78 1/2 model and up to PE250N.
