Suzuki A100

I know a bit off the dirt track, But I am turning a A100 into a bucket racer almost finshed the body work and paint just need some info on the motor.
Does anyone know how to turn an A100 into an A125, Also looking for expansion chamber to suit aswell??
It does skip along nicely but I would like it to be a bit more lively like a 125....

I have searched and found there were racing kits for these bikes but have not found anybody that knew what was in the kit...any help or head turned in the right direction would be great.

This is what I am aiming for just road reged instead and maybe not quite this extreme but something between this and stock would be perfect.

nutz, there was an R/T kit for the A100's way back. The kits normally consisted of pipe, larger bore rotary valve inlet/seat, larger outa carb inspection cover and a larger carb. There would have probably also been an internal rotor points ignition (may have been separate to the kit) as well as the specs for port modifications.

A guy whom I imagine would know some more is Willie Harden (aka Bob Roberts). He lives in Northern Idaho USA but was a Suzuki test rider/racer in California in the late 60's to mid 70's. He raced a kitted A100 in 1968.

Nuts I have an engine being shipped to me for some treatment, coincidentaly for a bucket also, so I can report when I look at the cylinder. The GP125 is also a good base for a fun roadie.
Big down fall is the 4 speed box  >:(

'if' you are after kit info another person to ask could Joe Broussard who supplied the pic below. He's on the yahoo tmgroup or facebook and also in California, actually both he and Willie are on facebook ;)



those things they drag in Thailand like in the vid link absolutely hammer eh! Have watched oodles of those, even the 4 bangers go hard ;D

Ok on face book, How did you know which one is the correct one??
Looks good I am just wanting something little out of the ordainary for a fun project and road bike.

Those thialand drags are awsome, I love how quick they are and they are all between 120-160cc 2-strokes. I think the 4's are bigger

Someone some where must know the information I am looking for.

use to go to Lakeside in the late 80's with my matchless,& a TA125,there was a family of yamaha TZ pilots,doug was the father,(can't remember their last name,but they were a yamaha dealer i think)anyway one of his sons raced this kitted A100,(a factory race kit from memory),geezas he could ride it,his corner speed was fairly fugging impressive,someone will remember them,worth chasing up for info, :P

Thanks for the info thus far, I have found someone which may have the orignal instructions which inckudes things like rotor timing head specs, ect.
If I do get them I will e-mail them to anyone who wants them, I can't wait to get started and see how it goes once all moded.
