Put a big tank on it and you have a good adventure bike.  I've always been a big fan of the Sportster dirt bike conversions.  For the uninformed Harley's are very tractabile in the dirt because of the uneven firing order of the motor.  They make great sliders, anyone that has ever put a Harley sideways can attest to that.

Where's marcFX, he needs one of these.

Finally a bloody real mans bike in a sea of bloody poofy 125s and freakin side pipe CZs. Also being a follow on model from about 1953 I don't see why you couldn't run pre 65, pre 70, in fact pre neolithic with a little less suspension travel. Shit Elvis rode one, Jay Springsteen rode one, in fact I believe God may have ridden one..... man just looking at it is giving me a woody.

I can tell you one thing, you won't be going far with those tyre's in the dirt. Better still bring  it to CD8 so we can all get a woody  ;D

Yes Hurls looks at me strangely when I mention riding the HL.... but I know he wants to hear it run.... we may be able to work something out. Taupo at Easter may be it then.

Bill ....Daryl might have some issues with Suzuki paying the Bills but I can always find a Bailey to ride the HL.... or even me.
