Good camerawork and good commentary.  Extraordinarily rough track!

Now that's motocross!

40 minute races, 2 minute lap times and a track that actually has a bump or two on it.  ;)

Thanks Doggy.  ;D

It looked to me like the track was ALL BUMPS and NO flat bits!!!   I wouldn't even be able to ride around the thing.
And - if a person were to actually ride around it - they'd need a respirator and two hours in the ambo after one lap!

How about the way Jobe and Geboers were standing the whole time.  Geboers in particular looked to be
in amazing 'stand-up' control.

I rode Hawkstone Park in 2000 ,two motos on clapped out '75 Kwaka ,one moto on '81 490 Maico.Mind you I was a lot younger then [62].Track looked the same as in the film, but doesn't give any impression of the length and steepness of "the hill" going up.Riders that don't make it just turn it around ,ride down against the traffic and have another go.Our officialdom would have a coronary .It does give some idea of the drop off at the beginning of the downhill. At practice ,Pete Mathia stood at the lip,and if a rider stopped or hesitated he pushed you over .True story ,he did it to me.I stalled the over geared ,over rich Kwaka at the edge and got the shove.Picture trying to bump start a loaded up 250 down that rough cliff in 2nd when you'd rather be in 1st with the brakes on and a left hander near the bottom.I've never been the same since.
I've got movie & still photos ,and will try & post some day.
