Hi Darcy, mate just emptied another 75mm out and that makes about 475mm in the last 3 weeks...... Springwood area Brisbane. I think we've had enough  for a while........

Spending time at Marani at my daughters, just outside of Mackay. Lots of the wet stuff Darc, Pioneer river quite high. Some winds in town took out a few trees. Nothing like 08 yet and hope it doesn't. Heading to Melb next week (Pakenham) for a bit of dryness, never though I'd say that!

Gee, that's not so good Jackie. I saw on the weather channel they reckoned a lot more to come too. Fingers crossed they aren't right... I see they're copping the snow in the US now too.

Alison no I haven't. I tried phoning a few times a day or so ago but no answer. The area they are in is pretty safe I think. Once you've seen the enormity of that frickin' Fairburn dam, to think the water is now heading towards 5 metres above the spillway is bloody scarey considering Emerald is what lay on the otherside :o will try again shortly ;)

Anyone know how Ray Sullivan's getting on up in Emerald? Things ain't looking very dry up there, I hope he and his beloved bikes are out of harms way.
