so ok where can you get this coil spring hose covering? i dont need it for shock hose just at the moment but i need it for different hose that is about 19mm OD. i went to about 6 places this morning but no one has it. eveyone said try car radiator places but they dont have it all their stuff is much bigger than 19mm. is this another item i have to source from USA? i have found it on a USA site but they want $50US for a wire tansfer fee

Use Adelaide Industrial springs , they can make any spring , but they only have grade 2 wire , but for this application that is more than plenty.

Bunnings in the plumbing section has an assortment of springs, used for bending and protecting PVC pipe both internally and externally, come in different sizes and grades, worth having a look anyway, can always bring something elses home

Be aware that the springs go on the hose before the crimping process.

tried Enzed and was surprised when they didnt have it. i think im just gonna have to get my USA mate to do a favour and get some for me from over there. i think its a bit hard to get as its all gone to that stainless steel braided stuff and they dont use the spring covering much anymore.
