Anyone recognize this wheel ???

18 inch 11-78 stamped on rim. I had thought YZ or XT but that was just a thought ??? (axle and snail cams don't belong, they're KDX250 items ;) )

Hub looks an awful lot like YZ250/360/400A~F, TT500, and IT250/400s of the 70s.

Brake plate isn't familiar, so I'd have to guess its TT.

Snail cams suggest IT (or TT?).

There will be a prefix cast into the hub (in the brake area), and on the back of the brake plate.

Plugging those prefixs into the box labelled "Prefix" here, will tell you what its from.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

i'd agree with Nathan.
a few models of the early Yammies ran that same rear hub with the IT's using the snail cams.
if your looking to move it on, i could be interested.  ;D

Thanks guys, turns out it's in it's entirety it's YZ250F/G/H (the brake arm was a giveaway I found). The axle and adjusters are from an '84 KDX250..I remember fitting it to keep the hub and plate together ;) thanks for that link Nathan, helped me narrow it down to a few models. The date stamp on rim threw me but as stated the rim/hub could be from a number of '76-'78ish models. The number on the brake drum is 48313 and the backing plate is 2X400. I did look but I didn't see any numbers earlier..my eyesight is getting terribly woeful! 8) ::) the wheel is 4 sale obviously (for sale section) From memory I don't own any of those models and I'm hoping my memory is better than my eyesight :P

edit, it could well suit 465's too 66 :) I never crossed referenced just went with the 250's. Sprocket size kind of dictates it may well have been on a big bore ;)

Bit of train-spotting info: The YZ250G has a smaller brake drum, so its not from a 250G. They went to the larger drum again for the H, then back to small for J+.

The brake plate doesn't look like YZ to me.

Think I'll stick with YZ250F as it seems to match all the criteria Nathan. The brake hub is quite large and the backing plate does infact look very similar to the example shown in the parts list. The 2X4 cast into the backing plate and the 11/78 rim date has me near certain it's from that model. Many thanks for the help ;)
