IT Yamaha 250 J
« on: November 29, 2010, 06:20:38 pm »
Was out on a farm today and found the IT lying inside a barn , there are extra parts with it like forks rear shock and swing arm. I haven't looked yet but I think it still runs.
There was more bikes as well 2 x XT 250 Yamaha's and an old TS 250 disk brake water cooled model.
Who collects IT's This is more a restorer than parts bikes.

What would you like to know, If there is no interest in the IT I shall leave it were it is. It's not my thing so I don't want it.
If someone here wants it I shall go and pick it up. I will be back out there later this week and Ill take pics. The plastic looked buggered etc but it did all look fixable.

I've got a 'J' model 250 and need parts for it. What's the clutch cover like mine got a hole in it the last race meeting!

I'd be interested in the TS250X if the price is right.

Nathan it's really just a parts bike. What would you be happy to pay?

I'd say $100 without looking at it.
More if the gearbox is definitey good.
A bit more if its a yellow one.

Yeah, sure, why not.

Are you right to grab/store the bike for a while if he says yes?
