A VMX convert?

I was reading the latest Australasian Dirt bike mag and in Josh Coppin's column he says he raced a VMX meeting in Britten and had a blast.
He was impressed with the power and handling of a Maico 490 but not so impressed with the brakes.

He also has a Suzuki RM400N he's rebuilding.

Last year I thought my son was becoming another convert and I babbled non-stop for ages about what bike to get him when he interupted to tell me that he said BMX not VMX.................

Another forum member posted on here earlier that Cory Hart and Pink where buying up on a few nice bikes also.
I suggested it pushed the market value up on all vmx bikes,but then got shot down for that idea
