PE guard nos

This is tempting I want one for my 400z but the holes in this one will only suit a 1980 pe because of the taillight if you weren't fussy you can use it on an 81 model.

 I have a few good ones in my shed but not as new I would be better trying to get some remade even though it would cost me a fortune I also need a nos headlight and headlight number plate I will keep looking but I am sure it isn't just me after NOS PE plastics.

I got a NOS one that is undrilled If you wanted to you could get some yellow plastic repair glue stuff Plastex? and carefully fill the holes, or even just a bit of fiber glass resin or araldite and then mix up some paint to match and carfully brush over the filled hole and you would hardly notice it.

It is just to bad that DC's shape and colour is all wrong on the PE I have one on my 400x it does the job of mudguard but is not good enough for a restoration its the same deal with the dc headlight.

DC's colour is now correct. Shape is ok, just missing that little edge ribbing. No worse than your fiberglass ones.

F/glass ones aren't bad we are going to reinforce one and see how we go the vibrations broke the last one but I am sure that could be fixed I need a rear guard like yours if I could get a cad drawing done of one of my rear guards I would have to just patch scratches with some bog and get it back 100% and see how I went.

Yeah you need rubber washers with fiberglass.

You said in your post that DC plastics colour is spot on or at least close, have you bought recently??
i just not sure about them. do you have pics of the NOS and the DC.
any help would be great.

No i havent bought DC's but i have seen a DC front numberplate and rear fender on a PE and they matched the rest of the original suzuki plastic pretty well. Others have also bought DC stuff and have no bad comments on the suzuki colour. The old hideous fluroesecnt yellow has been gone for ages. DC have said they now do everything in the proper colour. The only thing is that with most DC stuff there is fitting issues you have to sort out,
