dacky is a bit hard to get hold of, but you could speak with Ross McWatters from McWatter Racing Developements (find him on google search) he was looking after the Yamaka racing team back then i think, he is a nice bloke and will be happy to answer your questions, he lives in the Sydney area still.

The swing arm seems to be a modified standard unit which is odd
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

Thats right, a lot of factory stuff looked home made and agricultural and not mass produced by robots.

 Hi maybe able to explain the bike, I worked very closely with procycles & yamaha teams at that time, guys like dack etc usually had many cylinders ported for different power delivery etc( SX & outdoor), they were usually marked A,B,C. also all ex race bike are returned to almost standard so secrets dont get out & insurance reasons, hope this is of help , cheers middo ;)

Yeah I know someone in WA who was mates with Dack at the time who scored one of his team bikes.... it was basically rebuilt stocker when it turned up with new plastics.

Yeah your correct middo i was a riding buddy of Glen Bell's during the 80's & that's exactly what happened to his bikes. Frank Pons was his mechanic & he carried out a lot of his work through Pro Cycles.
