pro form exhaust

I purchased a pro form pipe for my RM 400T, I fitted it today and notice that my front mud guard hits the pipe when I turn the handlebars. Has anyone heard of this happening to someone else and has anyone got any idea's what I can do?

Buy a GMC pipe  fit great, good price  and made in Australia

Looks like a good pipe. Where did you purchase it from? Also where did you get your engine painted? I want to get mine painted in the future

What front fender is that? is it OEM?

Maxi81, you have 2 choices

1 - cut the fender shorter at the back
2 - re-drill 4 new holes in the fender mounting area so that the fender is spaced further forward, but also check tyre clearance at the back. I usally take the fork springs out and temporary tape fender to triple and then compress forks to see if i have it marked in the right area and everythign clears.

Put a tap washer between bottom triple & guard to change angle ( rear )

Just put some washers between the guard and the lower tripple clamp at the two rearward mounting holes, this will angle the fender upwards at the front and give you the clearance you need at the rear, Pro-form are very good pipes, you won't be dissapointed.

I had a DG pipe on this bike originaly , and it was rubbish  It was very thin walled and after a few rides ended up with more cracks than a Bangcock brothel 

I have a proform pipe for the 370 im building and that tits great 

However the GMC was by far the best for the 400

Motor was painted while it was stripped with VHT satin black engine enamal when backed in the oven for 30 mins

I have a pro-form on my YZ250A, doesnt look the best but man, does it work. Have a few GMC exhausts on bikes.....look the goods and they work.....give the mayor of "the principality of Morris" a call...buy "Aussie".
