Using Photos as a link?
« on: November 03, 2010, 09:32:24 am »
Can anyone tell me how to post a photo as a link, ie: clicking on a posted photo will open up the link, as opposed to just posting the link code.
Pretty sure I've seen it done on the forum in the past.

 Thanks in advance  ;D YT

Come on you guys!  ;D
Easiest way to explain this is to hit the "quote" button and then you can see what's happening behind the scenes where the "click here" pic is.
Instead of just pasting your address between the "URL" tags......place an "equals" sign directly after the "[url" then your address for link ...then replace the last "]" ....then after this bracket you can either write a description or paste an image link...either way this will be what the user clicks on to go to the link.
Clear as mud??  ;D

easier if you show its layout

bracket - url=http://www.ozvmx.com/community/]bracket-IMG]http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d14/photos2u/Odds%20and%20Ends/clickhere.jpg[/img]

i have removed the brackets from starts so you can see what the string should look like
