Administration is not liquidation.

Liquidation is what happens if the administrators can't bail the company out, and it goes bankrupt (in very simplified terms!).

The article makes it sound like they've called the administrators in very early - for whatever reasons - which greatly improves the odds of the business surviving.

Exactly right Nathan, Administration is not Liquidation, this also represents a great oportunity for a merger or takeover from a company that has better marketing and administraion skills, using competitive pricing stategies.

Nutritionally, I think I'd be rather eating the vegetable fat used in Krispy Kreme's than the PIG fat used most everywhere else.

Thanks for the accounting term lesson Nathan,I knew the difference but thought liquidation was a better head line.

Riiight...
Let's face it, truth and accuracy are way over-rated anyhow...
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Australian Icon, only a kiwi would think that.
Just another example of our ever increasing obsession with all things U.S.
I have to admit that I bought them a couple of times for sporting teams but they are way too candy sweet for me.

I didn't say they were nutritious.. Have another read. They're all shit when it comes down to nutrition. But if you have to compare donuts, Donut King run rings around those sickly sweet KK things. In the end they're all nasty little things.

When I lived in the US I had a 24 hr Winchells Donut shop accross the road and at first I thought it was cool but after a month or so I grew to hate the smell of the fuc*ing things. They release the aroma through the exhaust vents to attract hungry passers by, a bit like KFC does. One advantage of them being across the road was that you could always find a cop.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
