Trick XR500
« on: October 27, 2010, 10:12:05 am »
My friend Bob Neilson in Las Vegas is selling off a few of his collection. This Wasco framed XR500 looks the goods. I know nothing about the bike other than what's written below so if you're interested, PM me and I'll put you in touch with Bob.

WASCO XR500  79 XR500 motor, fresh top end Wiseco +20 piston and bore, valves cleaned up. No time since work was done on the engine. Just start it up.This is #3 of 3 that were built and is a one owner prior to us. FOX Factory Forks, Fox Air shocks, alloy air box, even has a title. This is the only known example to still exist. WASCO frame, chrome moly based on the 79 CR250 ( uses CR bodywork) built in Washington state by Dick Washer.  $5200us. http://wascoframe.com/

"Dick Washer" - I know the yanks aren't into nick names as much as we Oztraylans are, but surely that's not someone's real name?
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
