Hey Firko and Jim, will probably go on the hunt for the xl front wheel, have tried to get something original eg from a hagon but I keep running into dead ends. Jim, Weslake is a MK 1 running in a 78 Godden frame, its a centre port longtracker I bought from Donny Stafford in early 1978, Its stamped in the LHS , near the headstem, 7708115 which I'm taking as manufactured in August 1977 and it was the 115th for the year/period. I'm told they're a bit rare. Traded in my Cole Elstar to buy it which I had bought from Don a season earlier. Nice looking bike but didn't seem to have the punch required. Wish I'd chucked it in the back of the shed now! Thought I'd go with the braked front as the rear setup was going to be just as difficult to setup with sprocket alignment etc. Any ideas for a rear hub? Anyway will ring around the wreckers and see what they have. Ta for the input.
