Hi, just bought a Honda cr125r 1982 for $200 so no guessing how good it is !!! But it's 95% complete. Could anyone recommend  where to a get a rear shock rebuild re-gas done.   Thanks Rob

don't listen to him!, if you're in Brissie, I'll come and pick the bike up and give you $220!! and you won't have to worry about fixing the shock! how good a deal is that!

HI, I'm near Newcastle. "It does sound like a great deal" .Awesome price for a parts bike but having never rode one i had wondered if by the time i get the cr race worthy will i have spent to much? I ride a 1974 cr125. So i could ride 2 different classes which would be great. Have not checked anything as yet except a quick rub back on the plastics. The tanks the only one that could be saved. Last owner had the cr since he was a kid hasn't been started in years said it use to miss a gear could't remember if it was 2nd or 3rd.    Thanks Rob.

Rob, i used to live in Newcastle and bought an 82 CR125 new back in the day.
one of my favourite bikes of all time. i loved it, it did everything i threw at it and just kept on delivering.
if you do decide to fix it up for a racer though, bear in mind it being an 82 model will slot into the pre~85 category and it will be a little outclassed by the later 83,84 models.
but if it's just about fun, then they're cool bikes for sure.
and i'm pretty sure Mainline doesn't know what he's talking about ;D
