Dave - who is the person who Georges refers to in the second interview who is killing motocross, and how is he doing it?

Gissepe Luongo an Italian hairdresser who the FIM in its wisdom contracts the running of the GPs to .
Much the same way MA contracts the modern  nationals to Williams event managment.

For all the good Kevin Williams has done for the nats , Luongo has done the opposite for the GPs .

He is trying to run GP motocross the way Ecolstone runs F1 my way or the hiway  ::) they stopped paying prize money a couple of years ago and teams wishing to enter are charged ::) an obscene amount to enter.

Federations wishing to run a GP are charged  i believe 1000,000 euros (may be more )

He is slowly taking mx away from the classic circuits and running the GPs on over sized BMX tracks in supermarket carparks.
Natural terain and burger vans have given way to concrete and capachino machines , so the eyetie dont get his moleskin slippers dirty.

When somone publicly speaks out against him he bans them from his events ( Mark Eastwood former British MXDN manager)

Luongo recently tendered to run the US nationals but lost out to Davey Coombes outfit . He says he has a vision to take MX to new levels , i didn't realise he meant down.

Good on Georges for speaking out , this prick needs to be stopped before he completley forks GP MX  >:( >:(

Thanks TM Bill, I had no idea about him, surely the FIM must see the error in their ways?  What do the people of influence in the industry in Europe (especially the factory teams) say about it, Is there a backlash against him?  I think Dave King should run the GP's he can organise an event well and must have the contacts. How about it Dave?
