PLEASE HELP - H7 360 plastics.
« on: September 28, 2010, 05:06:15 am »
I am in desperate need of 1984 H7 360 plastics. I have tried South West Montesa - they say that the H7 was not imported to the States and they can't help. Tried DC Plastics - same story. Also tried Solomontesa - they just ignore me flat. Even got my brother to also mail them but same story. No reply. Might be a language issue.

Any and all help would be appreciated!

Cheerio,

Make an order with Solomontesa and then email them to ask about payment/postage. They have always responded then. I have also experienced a lack of response from them except when dealing with an order.

What we need is someone in Spain who can act as a go-between as there are heaps of sites that produce/sell items we want but do not seem interested to deal with people outside Spain. I have found a guy that makes new fuel tanks for VB Montesa among other stuff and many Bullies bits. They will not respond to emails even when I placed an order and requested postage costs etc.

Any Monty people on this site in SPAIN?

I reckon' with you being so close to retiring age Greg, you should spend the autumn days of your life over there being our go-between man. Think of it as throwing yourself on the grenade for your mates and the VMX community.  ;)

(By the way. My twin crank seal experiment failed horribly. :( Best you get onto plan B....)

Still a few (Bloody 7 actually) years to go just yet Ross. Gotta top that Super up 8)

OK plan B it is. I was thinking about that twin seal jobbie. There probably needs to be a small space between the seals to allow the outer lip on each seal to work. Anyway I am going to try the 30 x 45 x 8 Honda CR crankshaft seals using a machined press in sleeve in the carrier.

Does anyone know of a source for 30 x 50 x 7/10 two stroke crankshaft seals?
