well its now underway and i know 2 blokes competing on bikes.
i almost forgot all about it but am keen to follow thier progress.
one bloke is there for his 4th time, the other is doing his first visit and has funded everything by himself :o

There's a guy from SA competing on an XR400, and another bloke from NSW on a 1983 BMW!

Yep.. should be great...I was with the guys from Cycle Products West on Wednesday night who are putting together a team of 5 or so bikes..Benny Grabbo included.. all KTM's..will be going up to the "ceremonial" start tonight at Hillarys Marina to watch them all get flagged off...might even let Lowndes' tyres down....should never have left Ford... :D

It won't matter, he is bound to be running a works 'Polarizer'.

Brocky claimed you could run with seriously reduced tyre pressures [and no punctures] using one of those clever little 'do-hickeys'.   ;)
