Ummmmm............. well, that may happen, but I'll probably only be to be riding the DR750 over.
That said, I am trying to get it sorted in time and then trying to convince the family to make it our school holidays trip.  ;)
I even offered my boy 20 bucks to help convince my wife that it's a good idea.............  :D
I live in hope...........

Just got off the phone from El club Presidente and he assures me that Benalla is all go.
Word from the owner is that most of the property has held up well with the weather as the property didn’t get that much of the rain.
It will be similar to last year but they will be cutting some new sections and avoiding the bogs and other difficult bits from the modern event in August that I showed at
http://bikechatendurovinduro.com/index.php/topic,171.0.html

They will have the special test section again and the course should be a bit longer than last year.

Camping on Saturday night is more than welcome and kids riding minis is fine if they ride around sensibly and surpervised

Should be another good one, hope to see you there

Sounds good. I was a bit worried that it might be cancelled due to recent rain.

I've taken my video camera to the last couple of events but just got too carried away with riding so I never got around to filming anything.
Carried the thing for a lap at Harrow but was too busy looking for arrows to take it out ;D

Are you planning to camp Tony. There is a small shed on the property that would have room for you I think if you wanted to go that way.
Jason said they will have a TV there so I assume they will be showing some bike movies at night.
I can give you Jason's phone number if you need more info.

I'm thinking that I might camp now. It looks like I'll have a few days off to enjoy this one properly (contrary to my flying visit to Ruffy) so it will be good to spend a bit of time catching up and meeting people.
Yeah, maybe pm me his number and I'll give him a buzz next week.

btw I'll bring cash for you.......... easier to hide from the trouble and strife.......  ;)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to miss this one now. I've a job to do on Saturday morning, which isn't a big problem, but I also got offered a full day of riding on Sunday. So it was a choice of another rushed trip and watching everyone else having a blast, or spending a day riding. Sorry. Easy choice though. Especially as I got a big box of new bits from Southwest Montesa today.  ;D

Enjoy the weekend fellas. See ya at the next one.

Around 50 riders attended another good Vinduro today which was run by the Diamond valley club.
Many thanks to the land owner, Brian Nugent, who was a moto cross racer and club member back in the 60’s.
Also thanks to Jason, Steve, Rachel, John and many others who worked tirelessly before, during and after the event to ensure it’s success.

We were treated to a lap of around 20 minutes (at a guess) of short rocky hills and tight single track with a few grass paddocks for good measure. I put in about 4 laps in between waiting for my arms to pump down.
I think a few were worried about the event due to the recent rains but it even got a bit dusty in places.
Seemed to be lots of smiling faces there, at times it was hard to get out onto the track because there was so many people to chat to.

There were a few guys stopped for a rest and / or chat around the lap.
I spotted Dangerous Dave having a rest at one point too, don’t know why he chose to park his bike upside down on a rocky hill though.
And Drakie was ever so kind as to move off the track to let me by, don’t know why he chose to move over so far into such thick scrub either, or why he stopped facing the other direction.

It was enjoyable hard work, feeling a bit stiff and sore now so I am dreading tomorrow.

Sorry, no photo’s today, too busy riding.
