This is a reminder about Tony Tervoert's photography, and how bonza his work is.   If you were at CD7 or more recently, Harrow - I highly recommend you check his work and see if you are in there.   There are some classic shots at Harrow.  Tony's purchased photos are crystal-clear and well worth having.  (Don't be misled by the small jpegs on his website.)   Go back to his posts within the relevant events in the forum, to get the link to his viewing page.

He can modify pix to order.   Took my shaving cut off chin, in first pic.  (Cut myself big-time in a panicky rush the night before Harrow, cos I didn't want to make a mess in Daryl Turner's immaculate new home's bathroom.  "How embarrassment!")

As usual, great Tony T shots of Roger de Harvey at speed. Ya gotta love Rogers tres cool Deux ex Machina jersey, I had coffee and a nice little lemon crepe there during the week and had my usual oggle at the weird and wacky bikes for sale. I didn't see the MX jerseys on the rack, I'll have to check 'em out next time I'm there.

A lot of us probably forget about the 'vintage' part of Vintage Motocross a lot of the time.
I personally think that the more we acknowledge the historic aspect, the more the general public may find some interest in our sport.
How cool would it be to turn up to a meeting with everyone wearing period clothes, driving 30 year old cars with good old 70's music blasting out of the Becker stereo? 
Yeah, I know.............. I've lost it.............. 
I'd just like to encourage everyone to embrace the 'vinatge' part a little more.

Couple of months ago they had a an XT/SR500 done up to resemble an old TD1. Very nice it was too.

d just like to encourage everyone to embrace the 'vinatge' part a little more. 

I've been trying to encourage racers to wear period (or period style) riding gear for 20 years. To my eyes nothing looks poxier than someone riding a nice period Metisse wearing the latest multi coloured Fox riding gear and 21st century helmet graphics adorning his noggin. It's just as easy to get appropriate period style gear as it is to get period parts for your bike yet the majority of vintage racers don't get it.
