1983 Honda CR250R
« on: August 18, 2010, 02:31:15 pm »
Ladies and Gents - for sale - 1983 Honda CR250R.  Bike is in excellent condition and at the risk of opening myself to further abuse from some people across the channel I actually haven't raced it.

The bike has new shockie bushes, new rear tyre, new seat cover.  Most importantly the water pump problem has been professionally repaired (thanks to Geoff Morris and Ray Easson) - also has new wide footpegs installed.

Supposedly - and I can't confirm this but love to mention it  ;D - the bike is one given to Jeff Leisk by Honda for a Supercross series here in 83 - I do know the bike pulls like an absolute train.

Probably of more interest to people here in WA due to transport costs.  Sorry but due to work I can't help with crating this time.

Asking $4,000.

Home email is [email protected] or mobile 0409372993 for those interested.

Thanks for your time

Rossco

Being a Honda man I must chastise you Rossco for selling such a fine machine.I think it was the Bunbury SX that 'our' man Leisky raced said bike?
Tell me you arent financing a dirty Kwacka via this sale??
Love and Kisses your friendly NZ mate xx

Given my turn coat change to Red I guess I shouldn't challenge your turning to Team Green Kermit the Frog, but that CR250 sure is purdy.

Hmmmm yes well picked up Tony.I think they speak louder than any abuse I could possibly type, apart from the fact I think Team Retard racing would be more appropriate....

Tony - he doesn't need any help from others thank you very much - and since I am suffering from the worst imaginable "man" flu ever I am feeling a little fragile :'(

The 500's are cool bikes but this model 250 would be heaps more fun to ride,
unless of course you've been going to the gym everyday :D
When was the last time you had a reality check Rossco. ;D

BTW, I have just jigged for this model.

Oh no CMD,I guess the HIV is taking a real hold of you.
Get well soon my 'little' retarded friend  :-*

PS GMC's new pipe for this model is very cool, its on brother Scunges 250 and its as purdy as a squealing New Yorker on a steamy afternoon rafting trip.

Geoff - if reality had anything to do with it I wouldn't be doing VMX I reckon  ;D - I think it is a case, as for many of us, I always wanted one as a young fella but only now can really get one.  And yes will probably be slower but is really a moot point at the back of the pack  ;D

I am gagging (no gimp jokes) to try it out.

P.S Craig and CMD keep the banter going, lots of LOL moments!!
