Motorcycle Lifts !!
« on: August 17, 2010, 01:10:14 pm »
Hey , does anyone know whether you can buy a 500 lb ( 220 kg ) table type bike lifter , you know the type , the red ones made in China with a foot operated jack ?

It seems the only ones available are the 1000 lb jobbies !! ( 450 kgs ) .

It's just that they seem to be a bit of overkill for a 100 to 120 kg bike , that's all !!

I am sure the couple l bought around 8 years ago are NOT rated to 450 kgs and they work really well . Just can't seem to find them now .

Any help is appreciated .    ;D

Hodaka man

Are you in Sydney.

If so , i have one of the lifts you are looking for.

The hyd. jack sect is not working but it can be easly repaired. Apart from the hyd. jack the whole thing looks in perfect condition.

Hi Shoey, since Dave doesn't want that, I would be happy to give $50 bucks to Magoo's family fund for it. since you have been so generous. Is it one of those little square ones that go under the engine cradle?

Thanks Shoey,
This old girl is in need of some serious TLC, and that will make it a lot easier for me.

I will give you a call.

Hodaka, check out the just bikes mag, they are always advertising those lifts in that mag, usually a full page spread and I reckon they supply out of Melbourne. I will have a look tonight and see if they do a light weight jobbie.

Yep, sorry for the delay. Radum is the crowd I was referring to, they have a 300lb model that they sell for $50.00 catalogue # SNO902. You couldn't make one cheaper if you used a milk crate!
