Now that i'm back on line (land line died)
Mike,get onto
www.photobucket.com and register (no cost) and then upload your photos to photobucket.
Choose the photo you want on here and copy and paste the img file on your post.
Most of the time the photos you have on the computer come out large on here.
So if you have a photo on your computer...
1 - right click on the photo/file and choose "open with" - paint
2 - if it looks huge,go to the top where it says - image - left click - stretch/skew - where is has stretch - horizontal /vertical change it to the size you want.....i always use 30% for both.
don't worry about the skew...then press "ok"
Then the size will fit into the paint page or a little undersized = good.
3 - left click at the top - FILE and choose "save as" then i rename the file...if it was "Suzuki footpeg"
i rename it "suzuki footpeg 1" or whatever you like to call it.
If you don't rename it you will alter the original size of your file that you may have wanted to keep it.
Just remember where you have saved the new file.
When you are in photobucket and it says "Upload images and videos" just go to where you have saved the resized photo....then upload it and click save file (in photobucket)
Once its saved, just run the mouse pointer over the photo in photobucket and it will highlight the type of file that you can "cut and paste" onto your post in here.
right click on the "IMG code" file and "copy" then go to your post and "paste"
Before you post your post...click - preview - to make sure you are happy with the size of the photo...too big or small...resize it in paint and start again.
Done....i know there are easier ways but this works for me.
cheers...mario
