Yamaha twin leader front brake. SOLD!
« on: July 30, 2010, 05:56:01 pm »
Horizontal lug type, from YZ250J. To suit most early 80s YZs and ITs, and will also work the earlier leading-axle Yammies.
Shoes good, pivots not flogged out.

$40 + postage.
Sold. :)

Nathan.

Yeah, I sometimes wonder if I'd have an easier time selling stuff if I asked more for it...

I'm going by Suzook TLS brake prices. There must be more Yamaha ones around or I have paid too much- and the Yamaha TLS is better ,damn it.

D veda Its Honda approx 81-83 CR250/480 XL500, XR250/500 etc Its off one of those for sure. Just go to the SBS and EBC brakes websites and look at the shoe catalogues and also search ebay for various Hondas from early 80's and see what brake plates they have and find one that matches yours. it wont be hard to work out. Ebay is a good research tool to find out what part you got. its not off a road bike thats for sure. If get really, really stuck and cant ID it i can do it for you but would have to find time which i dont have right now.
