Thanks Brent, thats why i put ???next to the CR250 as it shows Stuart entered with a twofitty
I don't know my Honda's but that barrel looked too big for a 1/4 litre.

Mate the 250's were waterbottles and you can tell is 83 or 82 by the leftside pipe ,83 by the blue seat. 84's reversed the motor an chain etc to the opposite side and also had a big black  scoop.

Gotta come down one day .

Billet, that photo of Marty is such a great way to remember him and very sad at the same time.
I actually still have the 1980 USGP win at Carlsbad on video that i recorded from wide world of sports on channel 9.
It must have been that same year of maybe a little later.

I agree with you holeshot ;)
Monaro I just bought the program from the 1980 USGP on ebay yesterday. Should be cool when it turns up.

Thanks for the names guys i will attempt to match them up with the photos.

Check out this shot the rider actually has a spanner in his hand ready to work on his bike, imagine the outcry these days if the pro`s had to do that.

The pro's these days wouldn't know how to work on a bike.. most have been spoon fed their whole life.
