Harrow Vinduro meeting
« on: July 25, 2010, 05:52:28 pm »
Well I must say Drakey and the classic scramble club, Harrow Towns people, put on an excellent meeting this week end, many thanks to the property owner lochie for opening up this property for all to enjoy, Well l finally made it to harrow with my 125 KTM, and desided it is too tall anyway got off this morning 36 km`s track, and rode 600 to 900 m went through a creek and the bloody bike stopped another 100 m up the track, so l DNF and went home, what l saw of the track looked amazing, great job fellows, I will plant the seed into your mind Peter, another good spot to run a vinduro, and that would be the  OTWAYS Gellibrand another good stop. Paul Kosack would be the right person to contact he is at the gellibrand gernal store. Anyway Well done Drakey, and club members. You have won me, l will ride the next one. but the bike will need to be going a lot better, l am not happy with it at this stage, did have time to check it over so l feel the jetting and carbie needs servicing, but overall it is a great bike and a true enduro machine, but it is to tall for me, so l will sell it.

This was a tremendous event, some people were talking it up afterwards as the best vinduro ever! I wasn't arguing...

An enormous debt of thanks is due to all who made it happen: Drakie, the Classic Scramble Club, various Harrow people, the property owners, etc, etc.

That's a tough break DAVID#46, but you weren't alone - there were quite a few mechanical failures.

Thanks gentlemen.  :)

That shot of Fitzy is the last one in a series. It starts off with a nice low mono uphill and he's got a nice relaxed look on his face and end's with that one where he's obviously backed right off the gas and is starting to have second thoughts about the whole thing.  :D
