Conondale Classic
« on: July 15, 2010, 08:19:11 AM »
Hi all,

Just what to see if any of our Southern (and Northern) cousins are making it along to the Conondale classic.

Know it has been a full year already for events and a lot of people only did the trip less than 2 months ago.

Numbers are a little down on what we thought but will still be a strong event

Novelty races were a big hit last year and should be again this year.

Cheers

Shane

Shane, what a difference a week makes!Just on 80 riders have pre -entered as of today, looks like we might crack the ton after all :DJust a reminder for those who can make it there is a working party at Green Park on Sat 24th so even if you can spare a small amount of time it would be greatly appreciated. This is really shaping up to be a fantasic event!

I think they are open all day as they where have people still setting up the track and other things? Know they are now not having a water truck (due today) due to the good overnight rain on Wednesday. So I would say you could roll up anytime?

Well it will be next year for you Alison as it is now run and won.

What an event warm as toast duing the night and 25 degree days.

Fantastic track and over 120 riders.

Big fields in most classes with pre 85 250 and Evo open the biggest.

One of our lady friends had a big one on Saturday afternoon so hope she is well.

Brad had a run in with a rock but I will let him tell his Dick Johnson story ???

Just a great event and fun had by all.
