We worked out there was perhaps 400/500 acres of land to this venue- with Rocky entered in the program at VMX and RR we didnt cross paths.Steven did catch up with a few Morgan 06 outfit guys. 
Caught up with fourm members: montynut,Barnzy,Nimmo/Rossco-dont own a Maico,Missed Paul-he'd left earlier,there was so many other bike enthuisists.
Lots of money in the RRacing area with Vincent Replicas  , BSA, etc etc.
VMX side only had a few nice British bikes,they said there wasnt as many vmxer's as at the last HBBB.Due to the Nationlas on a week after in 2010,the RRacing was well supported.
The vinduro loop looked fantasic with a 6.2 km loop.
Anyone heard from the NZed VMX event ?
oh and its only 6 weeks to CD8

Walter, based on yesterday, I'd say MX and enduro were about the same, dirt track bigger. More trials, but still not many.
More spectators.

Seemed to be a good turnout to me but more spread out than last year.I meet alot of freinds but also missed alot that I'd hoped to see.When I asked about someone the usual reply was yer his or they're over at the speedway or Road Race. I agree with Nathan that these areas are getting bigger and getting more attention from spectators and the VMX crowd.
The swap meeting wasn't that great , seems less and less with every passing year, comparing to Classic Dirt in the first few year the swap meet was the biggest thing now its about having a ride and showing ya bike. The trade stands were also a bit disappointing ,but thanks to the ones that did set up,they too seemed to be spread out abit which didnt help.
I didnt get around as much as I'd liked and foresake a ride to do my swapping .Thanks to BearVMX for making room for me next to his setup .It was a pretty good day for me but still took too much back home.
Mr and MrsMaico had some great VMX dvd's playing on Saturday night, that with a bit of story swapping was a nice finish to a good day for me.

Well I help out all weekend, and congratualations to Drakey and theTeam and the Classic Scramble Club Members  great show, Its a lot of hard work, brilliant work fellows, It was a pleasure for me to meet for the first time Allison and Steve vmx 247 , a wonderfull couple, Steve you are one lucky man. A lovely Lady It was great to catch up with the great man Firko, sorry mark l couldn`t make it back on sunday to have a beer with you l was working at the MX track, It was bigger this year then last year, 3500 spectators on Saturaday alone. Great to see Roger Harvey, (love that Man) Excellent weekend and many thanks to all who came from me, M33

What l saw there where lots, there was over 700 registered riders, I am sure drakey said that at dinner last night.

Mick, I tried both Vinduro loops on the weekend. I mainly stayed on the motocross track as it was my first go for 27 years. I couldn't get enough of it. I can hardly walk today.
Both Vinduro loops were great. Sunday in particular was a beauty.
Perfect weather, great bikes and people, it doesn't get much better.

i only fronted for Saturday but i thought the MX track numbers were low on riders, dirt track about the same but a much bigger crowd of punters watching the dirt track action. a great weekend though just the same. the speedway spectacular went off on late Saturday.

SPEEDWAY
Awesome. Brilliant.  Massive crowd puller.   In my opinion, the place to be
MOTOCROSS
Quiet; low pressure (No pocket rockets practising for Nats the week after); easy to get on to track;
friendly crew at entry gate (Rod, Phil, Dave et al)
ROADRACE
Other side of the hill; from another planet.  Good for half-hour look; but then it's "Let's head back to the speedway!!"
STUNT SHOW
Absolutely unforgettable.  Brilliant entertainment.   This one will go down in history.  A one in a million!

I managed to talk the family to divert off the hwy for a few hours for a peak when travelling down to Melbourne to see the relo's on Saturday.

Everyone was blessed with the t-shirt weather. Didn't run into any of my Canberra comrades but caught up with a few mates I hadn't seen for 20+ years and thought the event was fantastic.

It was my first look at the great MX track. Will aim to get my bike down next Easter.

Well I’m pretty stuffed after this one, and I didn’t even ride.
I think I’m suffering from facial recognition fatigue.
It seemed busy with a lot of stuff happening all at once, but spread all over the place so it was hard to judge numbers.
I missed catching up with a many, but the atmosphere from those I did catch up with was fantastic.
So busy talking I didn’t get round to taking any pictures.

The only real downer was that a huge gang of outlaw bikers, terrorists and Mexican drug dealers stormed the place - they were clearly intent on wreaking havoc. Luckily, I managed to fight them all off, but not before they broke ten spokes in the rear wheel of Mr GMC's bike and blew one of the fork seals....

He thinks I’m so gullible that I would believe any old deceitful story that he can spin together.

Arrived home a couple of hours ago. Fantastic weekend. Loooove that MX track and had my first Dirt Track ride for years well actually decades.

Wish I had of been able to watch more speedway and ride more Dirt Track but was enjoying the MX so much only got to see 30mins at the R/R cct.

Its looking like the reflection of Classic Dirt format..the all lunch break was one of the great aspects of CD7,,,time to reflect, have a catch up,refreshments,toilet break for all & officials, rev silence,track watering,flag change over and general maintaince.
