If you could only spend one day at HBBB, which would be the better one? Interested in the Dirt track/speedway/mx.

I would have said Saturday Rosco, last year  myself and 3 mates went and had a look on Saturday and were blown away how good the Dirt Track/ Speedway was. Unfortunately we ran out of time to have a good look at the MX or the Road racing circuit. The enduro guys seemed to be having a ball as well.
We are going to camp this year for 3 days so we don't miss any aspects.

Regards Stan.

I don't know if I've missed it somewhere, but when exactly (day & time) are you able to arrive to set up camp at HBBB.
thanks, Mike

Pretty sure you can set up camp on Friday

Thanks Stan, in Adelaide  with the son for the Age Nationals for swimming and will go home via Broadford, but can olny really stay one day. Will aim for the Saturday. Might get a chance to catch up with you. Really can't complain about he young fellas swimming, was hoping to make a semi final in the 50 back this year at the Aussie champs in Sydney last week. Ended up going into the final 3rd and finished 5th. (was the baby of the field at 18) Pretty proud of him, I think I was more nervous than him. Have a good time at HBBB

Hey Rossco, pack your leathers in so you can chuck a few harmless skids on mine and AJ's dirt track tackle. ;). Al's bringing his Godden 4v 894 long tracker, a 2v Jawa speedway bike of some sort or other and the mighty 850 Nourish Weslake/Redline tracker. I'll have the Hindall Sisters and Franks Greeves/NSU. We'll be settled in at the Kevlar Kompound at the dirt track so even if you don't want to ride, at least drop by for a soothing ale or two.

Definetly catchyou for an ale Mark. Just home from 3 delightful days alternating between down town Parramatta and the Homebush Pool. Going to take a weeks long service next year and come and annoy you when I don't have to go to the pool. Still waiting on getting my wheels and motor back for the weslake godden. Cant wait to give myself a big fright.

On the entry form for the Bonanza it nominates that the form has to be completed and returned on or before the 25th of March. Is anyone aware if the organisers are accepting entries as late as this weekend or it to late to attend as anything other than a spectator?

Just spoke to Drakie last night, he is now hanging out in Broadford and won't be processing any more Pre entries but he did confirm that they will be taking entries on the day.
So pack your riding gear and load your bikes, it should be another good one.

TS90 Works Replicas

Hi HBBBers ... I can't remember who posted it, but - could the guy who lives near that man with
the kitted Honchos, please encourage him to bring them again?  And maybe to put them on the motocross
side of the hill this year?

(You mentioned that he was associated with the tarmac mob)

Hey Ali. If you see Rocky Warren, see if he has picked up my RM front end from Bearvmx. Cheers wish I was there.
You don't have to be, but it helps.

We all do 779. What time will you land in Toowoomba or are you doing Brisvagas first?

It was good! :)

Do you want a chip?

The swap meet was spotty, but I still took home a ton of crap. :P

Do you want a chip?

Caught up with a ton of people.

Do you want a chip?

Drank some beer (thanks to Dennis and Snowy).

Do you want a chip?

Said g'day to many others - but didn't get a chance for a proper chat. (FatBoy, that we me on the KDX175).

Do you want a chip?

Saw some very cool bikes.

Do you want a chip?

The only real downer was that a huge gang of outlaw bikers, terrorists and Mexican drug dealers stormed the place - they were clearly intent on wreaking havoc. Luckily, I managed to fight them all off, but not before they broke ten spokes in the rear wheel of Mr GMC's bike and blew one of the fork seals....

Edit: ~1600kms in 36hours. I am even more of an idiot than I thought... Home to Porepunkah to Broadford to Morewell to Broadford to home. Probably a bit extra, considering I got lost twice.

Do you want a chip?
