I posted this on May 31 Dave http://ozvmx.com/community/index.php?topic=13391.0
And got this email he sent me which I'm sure he won't mind me sharing with you. The Ben Tony mentions is my Pommy mate Ben Penny and the other Mark is CCM guru Mark Cook.
Hi Mark, got back to Portsmouth yesterday from I O M. fork me I knew
it would be fast but!!!. I was sitting on the rock fence right where
Hutchenson outbraked McGuiness for the lead in the supersports at
180mph 3 feet away. Faaark doesn't come close. Has Ben contacted you?
He is a really nice guy with a wicked sense of humour much like myself!
He and Mark couldn't do enough for me. The CCM was awsome and although
I had a shit first race I redeemed some Aussie pride in the rest. The
pace was really hot but I think the top boys from home wouldn't be
disgraced.A couple of 6th places was the best I could muster. The
track was a lot like Mountain Man in the 80's and just as fast I had
it wound on in top a couple of times. When I get back I need your
editorial expertise as I would like to do a short splurge for VMX to
thank Mark and Ben. Off to Paris tomorrow but don't worry I will make
the French chicks work for their time with me as you know although I
am cheap I am never free. Once again thank you for your part in
getting me the ride.  Tony
